Keith first came to see us in August 2013. He was having some problems and really looking into all the available options for his mouth.
Keith had an old denture due to him losing his front teeth when he was 10 years old. He had a partial denture that he never used to wear when he was younger, naturally, his remaining teeth moved. Keith only started wearing his partial when he was about 16. As Keiths oral health deteriorated, more teeth were removed which meant more fake teeth were added to his partial denture. This partial in turn got bigger, growing considerably in size.By the time he came to see us, there were actually more teeth on his plate than actually natural in his mouth meaning his partial was hanging onto only a few teeth.
By the time he came to see us, there were actually more teeth on his plate than natural in his mouth meaning his partial was hanging onto only a few teeth. What happened, was one of his upper left-hand side anchor teeth retaining his denture failed due to gum disease and decay. Keith knew for a while he was going to lose that tooth, so between 2013 and 2014 when we began diagnostic work, that tooth had really deteriorated giving him a lot of pain and discomfort. Treatment wise Keith had all-on-4 upper and lower. His case was finished in February 2015, the video below shows his 2-year review.
