COVID-19 update from Advanced Dental Artistry

As health care providers Advanced Dental Artistry are handling the current COVID-19 pandemic with extreme care and the health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost concern to us.

We are closely monitoring and relying on information from the government and relevant medical authorities in order to protect our patients and our team. We’ve also reviewed and strengthened a number of our existing hygiene and sterilisation protocols to ensure we comply with guidelines set by the Australian Dental Association.

Clients Concerns: We’ve been listening closely to our clients concerns about how coronavirus may impact any upcoming treatment with us. The main concerns have been around closure, safety and treatment disruption.

Closure: Our intention is to stay open and provide every opportunity to continue to support our clients. In the event of a government issued shutdown our team is already prepared for this so we can still be progressing with all non-clinical tasks and rescheduling all appointments.

Disruption to treatment: Regardless of what happens over the coming weeks there will be some level of unavoidable disruption, but again we are prepared for this and we are confident that our contingency plans will minimise disruption. We are also fortunate that we complete all our tasks under the one roof (diagnostics, scans, surgery and technical laboratory work) which significantly reduces the risk of treatment disruption.

Safety: We have developed an extremely thorough COVID-19 protocol which is an extension of what we already have in place to ensure our high level of patient care and hygiene. We have also introduced a strict screening process with patients prior to anyone entering the practice as well as an internal protocol for our admin and non-clinical team.

Our team at Advanced Dental Artistry is remaining centred and present during this uncertain time and we are committed to keeping all of our clients completely up to date.

If you have concerns or questions you would like to discuss with Dr Adrian or our team, please contact the practice on (08) 6165 3888.
